Step 1:

Make a ball for the head and a rounded sausage for the body. Join them together with a toothpick.

Step 2:

Secure the joint with your fingers. Spread a lighter-colored sausage under the belly. Stick a smaller, pointed sausage on the head and flatten it for the nose.

Step 3:

Add a dark, flat piece of clay under the nose. Make the cheeks with two little balls and add a white one for the chin. Model two little balls on the head for the ears.

Step 4:

Make four sausages for the legs. Stick them onto the body and shape the feet.

Step 5:

For the beard, cut a fringe on thin paper, make an opening in the neck, and stick it in. Stick two black balls over larger ones for the eyes. A thin sausage will do for the tail.

Step 6:

Add the stripes by pressing thin black sausages on the body or by painting them on.

Here’s You’re Finished Tiger!

If you make spots instead of stripes, your tiger will become a leopard.
